The Chicago Friars are trying something new, a mountain we have never been to before. Big Mountain is located in northwestern Montana near Glacier National Park. We'll be staying at Grouse Mountain Lodge, a world class luxury resort, and skiing to our hearts content. It's a great but relatively unknown ski area that also offers snow cat skiing, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, thrill sleds, tubing, ice skating, dog sled adventures and more.

This Friar trip includes round trip air from O'Hare to Kalispell, Montana with a ten minute ride to the Grouse Mountain Lodge. We have 5 nights lodging at this first class property with a free shuttle service to the mountain stopping at the front door. Also included is a 3 day lift ticket, a nastar ski race, a welcome party and a whole lot more! There will be a pre-trip party held to distribute airline tickets and additional information, and a mimosa and champaign kick off at the airport before boarding the plane.
